Southern Finland-Estonia Sub-programme |

 The programme area of the Southern Finland – Estonia Sub-programme covers the participating regions in Southern Finland (except Åland Islands) and Estonia. Projects applying for funding from the sub-programme have to have partners from both Southern Finland and Estonia. Projects focusing on sea islands and archipelago issues, however, have to apply for funding from the Archipelago and Islands Sub-programme.
In this part of the overall Programme, special emphasis has been put on the following directions of support:
Priority 1 Safe and healthy environment
• Maintaining and improving the condition of the natural environment • Taking responsibility for our physical environment
Priority 2 Economically competitive and innovative region
• Improving connections within the programme area• Creating and supporting innovative and competitive environments• Meeting challenges of the labour market
Priority 3 Attractive and dynamic societies
• Social security and well-being of different groups in society• Stimulating and preserving our heritage and culture
