“Europe in my region: what is being done with our EU money?”

EU funds benefit everyone - the young and old, the unemployed, farmers, health care employees, inhabitants of cities and rural areas, students and researchers etc. The Central Baltic INTERREG IV A Programme 2007-2013

will stage photo exhibitions during 10-30 October in Helsinki, Mariehamn, Riga, Stockholm and Tallinn to showcase how EU funds have benefited people in the Central Baltic region.

The photo exhibitions are also local events of the "Open Days 2011 9th European Week of Regions and Cities" held in Brussels during 10-13 October. Welcome to visit our Showcase photo exhibitions and have a cup of coffee with us!

The photo exhibitions will take place during these dates and at these locations:

  • Helsinki: 10-23 October at Helsinki City Music Library, Library 10 on Elielinaukio 2 G, Helsinki, Finland
  • Riga: 10-23 October at University of Latvia on Raiņa 19, Riga, Latvia
  • Tallinn: 12-25 October at Tallinn University, Mare building, Uus-Sadama 5, Tallinn, Estonia
  • Mariehamn: 17-30 October at Mariehamn City Library on Strandgatan 29, Mariehamn, on the Åland Islands
  • Stockholm: 17-30 October at Stockholm University, outside the University library, Frescati, Universitetsvägen 14, Stockholm, Sweden

Members of staff from the Joint Technical Secretariat will be present to answer questions on the first day of the exhibitions. For the rest of the two weeks, the exhibition will be unstaffed. See our events calendar for opening day times.
