Latest call resulted in 19 new projects

The third call for applications was open September 15 - October 15, 2009. All the received 38 applications have now been assessed and the Steering Committees have taken their decisions on the approval of altogether 19 new cross-border projects in the Central Baltic region. Out of the 96 million euros originally available in the Central Baltic INTERREG IV A Programme 2007-2013, nearly 60 millions has been committed to the total of 65 approved projects so far. Still millions remain to be used by new ideas on how to make the region even better!


The lately approved 19 new projects are divided between the (Sub-)programmes as follows: Central Baltic Programme 10, Southern Finland - Estonia Sub-programme 5 and Archipelago and Islands Sub-programme 4 new projects. As for priorities, the priority Safe and healthy environment got 6, Economically competitive and innovative region 7 and Attractive and dynamic societies 6 new projects.


Congratulations to the new projects of the Central Baltic INTERREG IV A Programme! For the remaining good ideas there is still nearly 40 millions to be used for developing the Central Baltic region. The fourth call for applications is open May 1-31 and the fifth call November 1-30, 2010. Let us hear your ideas!
