The second call for project applications of the Central Baltic INTERREG IV A Programme 2007-2013 closed on April 15, 2009. Altogether 48 applications were received, out of which 19 applications were directed to the Central Baltic (CB) Programme. The Steering Committee of the CB Programme had its meeting on September 1-2 in Eckerö, Åland and took the preliminary funding decisions concerning the 19 CB applications.

- 10 CB projects are foreseen to be either approved or approved under conditions

- 6 CB projects are foreseen to be rejected (3 projects either withdrew their application or were rejected during the Technical Assessment)

The final decisions are expected during week 39 at the latest.
