It is important to keep the finalisation of the project in mind already when starting the project, since there is quite a lot to do in the end. Plan to finalise your activities in good time before the project end date so that you will have time to compile the needed information for your final report and payment claim.
How will your project live on?
Despite the limited life-span of a project, it is crucial to consider the sustainability of the project activities and achievements. A successful project creates practices, models, solutions, networks or knowledge that live on after the project ends even without project funding. The sustainability of the results must be taken into account when planning a project. Towards the end of the project it should be evident how the sustainability of the results should be taken care of.
The final report and payment claim
At the end of your project a final report should be submitted with the last progress report and payment claim. The final report should cover the whole project implementation period and not just the last reporting period. It should also cover the results your project have reached, and how these results will live on.
The Alumni Network
Partners of closed Central Baltic INTERREG IV A Programme 2007-2013 projects will be invited to an Alumni network. The idea of the Alumni network is to gain perspective from the experienced actors in the field and to come up with new approaches by joining the older ideas with new views. This network will be first piloted in mailing list format for the experienced and the new-comers to share ideas and later widened to include the alumni participating in project development seminars.
